Canaan Star have been such a help in my publishing process. They have opened so many doors for me and given me the kick start my writing career needed. They are always prompt with response, and do everything to make the process easier for the writer. Without Canaan Star, my novel wouldn’t have gotten the support it needed. I would definitely recommend Canaan Star to any aspiring writer who is willing to take the plunge into the abyss of Authorism! I would definitely use their services again.

I would never have brought my first book to publication without Canaan-Star Publishing. I had sounded out agents, they wanted proven success. I researched the big publishers, they offered restrictive terms and took control of the book. I was unsure where to go when I met Cambridge the senior editor at Canaan Star. Her encouragement restored my belief in myself as a writer. She took me through the practicalities of bringing my book to market. She was at the end of the phone, supportive, professional, practical, informed and guided me through the process of publishing that was alien to me. I made all the decisions and kept control of my book up to and through publication. Without her, my book would be sitting in a folder on my computer. Since the magical moment when my first book came through the post, I have published two more and I am working with Cambridge on book number four. She makes the whole process so smooth that it allows me to focus on continually improving the quality of my writing, knowing the end product will look professional and will be pleasing to hold and read.

After spending three years on my book I was not sure I wanted to go to a traditional publisher; I had that experience with my first book and it was a negative journey. From the moment I sent Canaan-Star Publishing my book they treated me like a superstar author - they assisted with everything from cover art to bio to paper choice. Every question was answered quickly and concisely and when it was time to receive royalties they were transferred in a timely and easy manner. This has been an amazing experience and I am going to stay with Canaan-Star for all my future work.

To All and Sundry. After publishing fifteen books I did not know the process could be painless (anything but) until fate brought me with Greek-like punctuality into contact with Canaan-Star Publishing. I forget exactly why I decided to look up a list of British publishers for a book of short stories, Tobacco Town, that had nothing to do with life in the United Kingdom. Well, fate can sometimes be kind. Canaan-Star's response to me, and as well to my submission, was prompt and, after my acceptance, equally prompt in execution. The end product--the book itself-- was also utterly flawless and reasonably priced. One can see this for himself (or herself) merely by comparing its cost on Amazon with other works of like import. With Canaan-Star nothing ever happens without the author being kept abreast. I had hoped to keep these folks as my own secret; yet I did feel compassion for writers whose dealings with American publishers can be tedious, time-consuming and frustrating even on those rare occasions when an unknown gets any kind of response at all or--rarest of rarities--an acceptance. Even university publishers, the best bet for unpublished authors with a scholarly inclination, lack the means to circulate and market books to maximum benefit. Now I find that Tobacco Town gets exposure all over the English-speaking world.

Publishing my book through Canaan-Star has been an enjoyable and straight forward experience. Having suffered various horrors in the past at the hands of  small traditional publishers, this was a pleasure. Self publishing may be the way forward in the future for many authors but you need the world wide distribution and a really good cover design. This is where Cambridge Onoh of Canaan-Star  excels and I'm really pleased with the cover that was designed for me. Everybody I speak to is impressed with it. Canaan-Star seem to offer everything that a self publishing author needs to ensure that their book stands a good chance in the market place.

This new publisher stands on the side of the author offering ebook and print versions of your book in record time. Original and eyecatching art cover is also included. If you're concerned about keeping the integrity of your work, Canaan-Star is also great because you are the editor of your novel.

Being an Indian writer, I was a bit skeptical in the beginning about Caanan-star publisher as it was a new publishing house for me and also originated in UK. But   my view was totally changed very soon as I realized that this publisher, especially their editor Cambridge Onoh was on my side. She not only offered a very good service for my book in record time with an eye catching art cover but also with a very reasonable price.  The editor is very particular about the quality of the work she publishes though a little more attention is required about proof reading the grammar.

I took my novel to Caanan-star publishers seeing their web advertisement. My correspondence throughout has been with their editor Cambridge Onoh and I have nothing but praise for the prompt, considerate and professional service she has given. She is extremely particular about the quality of the work she publishes and pays minute attention to proof reading the grammar.  I received my manuscript back 3 times before she agreed to publish & I appreciate the reasons; Canaan-star do not want second grade material out there under their banner. Regarding the look of the published material it came with my own selection of picture on the cover but a graphic artist enhanced the look with a smart text arrangement of the title. Having commented on the book my friends have spontaneously praised its presentation. If I meet Canaan-star's  scrutiny of quality I am going there for publication of my next 2 books. By the way, to coin a phrase, 'the price is right.'
